Adding a Facebook partner to a business account involves granting access to another business or individual through Facebook Business Manager.

Prerequisites:

Business Manager:

You must have a Facebook Business Manager account set up. If you don’t have one, create it at https://business.facebook.com.

Partner’s Business ID:

Obtain your partner’s Business ID, which is a unique identifier for their Facebook Business Manager. They can find it in their Business Settings under “Business Info.”

Mutual Trust:

Ensure you trust your partner with the level of access you grant them, as they’ll be able to manage certain aspects of your business assets based on the permissions you assign.

Steps:

Access Facebook Business Manager:

Go to Facebook Business Manager.
Log in with your personal Facebook account credentials.

Navigate to Business Settings:

Once logged in, you’ll see a list of businesses you are managing. Click on the business you want to add partner to.

Add a Partner:

By Clicking above link, you’ll navigate directly to the partner’s user page to add partner. Otherwise, In the Business Settings, look for the “Users” section in the left-hand menu.
Click on “Partners” and then click on the “+ Add” button.

Enter Partner’s Business ID:

You’ll be prompted to enter the Business ID of the partner you want to add. Add business partner ID you acquired from the partner you want to add. The Business ID is usually associated with their Facebook Business Manager account.

Select Assets and Access Level:

After entering the Business ID, you can choose the level of access you want to grant to the partner. Facebook offers different roles, such as Admin, Editor, Advertiser, etc.

Choose the specific assets (e.g., Facebook Pages, ad accounts, pixels) you want to share with your partner. Then, select the appropriate access level:

  • Admin: Full access to manage the selected assets.
  • Standard Access: View and edit most information, but cannot create or delete objects.
  • Custom Access: Tailor access by specifying individual permissions for each asset.

Send Invitation:

Once you’ve selected the access level, click on “Next” or “Send Invitation” to send the partnership invitation.

Partner Acceptance:

The partner will receive an invitation and needs to accept it. They will need to log in to their own Facebook Business Manager account to accept the partnership.

Confirmation:

Once the partner accepts the invitation, you’ll receive a notification, and the partnership will be confirmed and their access will be activated based on the permissions you granted.
